Exporting your design
The export menu on an unlocked installation: PNG, 1:1 PDF, SVG, CAD-ready DXF and the wiring CSV — what each contains.
Exports are generated server-side from your layout and require a signed-in account. On an unlocked installation the toolbar's export menu offers five formats; on a design you have not paid for yet, the export button takes you through the same $19 checkout as Save.
The formats
PNG image — a high-resolution raster of the full layout with a title block and legend, good for sharing and build notes.
PDF (1:1 print) — the layout embedded at true millimetre scale, so printed pages can be used as drilling templates. Check your printer is set to 100% / actual size, not "fit to page".
SVG vector — the full layout as a scalable vector drawing.
DXF (CAD) — an R12 DXF in millimetre units with board outlines and component footprints as closed polylines, ready for CAD or CNC work.
Wiring CSV — the wiring schedule: one row per cable with run label, both endpoints (component and terminal), connection types, gauge in mm², fuse and length. This is your shopping and loom-building list.
